Mr. Fenz, your menu ordering system accesses patient data that is entered into the HIS upon admission. How do you ensure data protection in this process? <\/h3>\n

Personal data is stored in the customer’s system environment. Only the necessary data is provided for the planning and control of food production within the inventory management system. This primarily includes order figures, i.e., the total number of ordered menus or meals. Personal data is not required and is therefore not transferred. Each department automatically has access to the data relevant to them. <\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

One advantage is the continuous availability of data, which eliminates the need for duplicate entry. Can you illustrate this? <\/h3>\n

The anonymized customer data provides exact ordering options. It takes into account diets, allergies, preferences, dislikes, and intolerances. Example: If an ingredient from Menu 1, which comes from supplier xxx on that day, contains an allergen that the patient cannot tolerate, they cannot order this menu. This is technically only possible by continuously linking data stored in the cloud, e.g., the article data of food suppliers including nutritional values and contained allergens, with the data in the weekly menu plans, the ordering system, and specific personal data. This process is fully automated. <\/em><\/p>\n

The goal was that even auxiliary or nursing staff could place a valid menu order.<\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Can admission meals or meal reports also be managed better with this system?<\/h3>\n

Immediately upon admission, it is ensured that the admission meal is provided to the ward where the patient was admitted. Even with short-term meal cancellations, transfers, or other changes, this information is not only available to all affected persons but also automatically controls the flow of goods and the provision of meals. <\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
